Message from CEO

My name is Aaron Slayter, Jr. It is an honor and a privilege to represent the Slayter family in the leadership role of Chief Executive Officer. We are excited about and welcome the opportunity to add value to people by impacting people’s lives through participating in the club calf industry. This industry represents family, hard work, community, and strong values. The Slayter family wants to serve this industry by putting its best resources towards impacting the lives of everyone involved. As a result, we have dedicated almost 4,000 acres of land comprised of beautiful pastures and waterways over two parishes in Central Louisiana, bordered by the Red River to this vision.

Commercial beef and club calf operations are parts of our long-term goals. We have been adding quality breeding stock from highly respected cattle ranches such as Sitz Ranch, 3C Christensen Ranch, and DeJong Ranch to our existing herd. We have purchased herd bulls with the genetics that we think will best fit with our cows to put top-notch calves on the ground.

For the Slayter family, the cattle industry is a calling. Our focus on impacting people’s lives is paramount. This show calf industry in LA is ready for someone with resources, confidence, vision, and a plan. I am excited about the possiblities for five s in 2012!! We stand for excellence, integrity, and loyalty, and our mission is to be known throughout the industry for integrity and superior genetics.
